Green.

God is so good.
And so is truth.
Because they are one in the same.
The Lord is gracious enough to speak bold words of truth to me. He so often leads me to repentance in His gentlemanly fashion with kindness. This morning was spent praying over a specific area of my life in which bitterness had taken root. I begged Him to uproot that sucker right away and to clear out the fruits of bitterness that were developing in my life. Within less than an hour, He used a friend (who was totally unaware of my situation/prayers) to speak His truth to me concerning this area of my life. Interesting how the Lord works, yeah? I'll share this golden nugget of wisdom with you because maybe someone out there, like me, needs to hear the truth in these words today.


Truth:
Jealousy is one of the greatest destoyers of relationships. You think your bitterness is directed at the person of your fury while being blind to the fact that it has invaded your very soul and is fighting for your affections. Do not feed it. Starve it. Compassion is a healer, a restorer. Feed her instead. Jealousy and compassion cannot cohabitate. Give compassion a room and jealousy will stalk off taking his wounded pride with him. Good riddance, I say.
